SOUTH AFRICAN GROWER EVALUATION PROGRAMME
Put AgriSun to the test in your own orchard.
A structured opportunity for selected South African commercial fruit growers to evaluate AgriSun reflective orchard ground cover under real orchard conditions.
YOUR ORCHARD. YOUR CONDITIONS.
WHAT THE PROGRAMME IS DESIGNED TO DO
Evaluate
Observe the product under your own orchard conditions.
Compare
Where practical, compare treated and untreated areas within the same block.
Measure
Record the indicators that matter for your crop and commercial objective.
Learn
Build first-hand knowledge before making decisions about future commercial use.
MEASURE THE RESULT. DON'T ASSUME IT.
No two orchard blocks are identical.
Cultivar, canopy architecture, row orientation, netting, climate and management all shape the environment in which a product performs.
The AgriSun Grower Evaluation Programme gives selected growers the opportunity to evaluate the product in a commercial block and document what happens under their own conditions.
This isn't a demonstration. It's an evaluation.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The programme is intended for commercial South African fruit growers with suitable orchard blocks for structured evaluation.
Relevant crops include:
Apples • Pears • Cherries • Peaches • Nectarines • Plums • Apricots • Table Grapes.
Participation is subject to orchard suitability, trial requirements and product availability.
WHAT AGRISUN PROVIDES
Reflective Ground Cover
Product allocated for the approved evaluation block.
Technical Information
Relevant product specifications and supporting documentation.
Installation Guidance
Practical guidance for positioning, installation and timing.
Evaluation Support,
Support in establishing what should be observed and recorded during the evaluation period.
WHAT SHOULD WE MEASURE?
The objective isn't simply to put reflective film into an orchard and see what happens.
Each evaluation should begin with a defined question.
Depending on the crop, cultivar and objective, observations may include:
Light exposure • Fruit colour • Colour distribution • Maturity • °Brix • Fruit quality • Pack-out.
Start with the question. Measure the result.
